Projection Mapping a Glacier?! WTF?!! Yeah sorta...
Through a collaboration with pixel hardware vendor Future Lighting, we have acquired the Yeasayer Crystalline Stage (designed by Aranda/Lasch and fabricated by ASTERISKOS).
We're modifying the original shape a little and now calling it a Glacier. Because it's big, has angles, and it's cold to the touch. Glaciers are constantly moving under their own weight and their colors are an accumulation of pure water without air -- our Glacier will be an accumulation of projected lights, LAVA BYOB-style. What that means is up to you.
LAVA BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer)
Projection Mapping on a Glacier

5 - 11pm ⇾
Along with the Glacier we will provide a few projection-mapping-ready beamers pre mounted to the ceilings (approx 14ft), electrical lines, DJ's to keep the groove, and light drinks to keep us hydrated and happy.
We encourage you to bring your own beamer (projector, laser, whatever projects light) or if you prefer to bring your content instead, please feel free to bring your external media and we'll sort it out -- the point is to have fun in real-time collaboration with your LAVA community!
