Veronica V., a META scholar at the University of La Verne, recently told us: “I am the first student in my family to both graduate from high school and attend college. I am a passionate and ambitious student who is determined to make a change in my community. Photography has become a new discovered passion in college, and I believe that photography can speak louder than words.”
The META Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides mentorship and scholarships to Latino youth in Southern California, with the vision of increasing the opportunities for Latinos to become successful business and community leaders.
Update: Thank you all who donated art and came out to support META's Art for Scholars event! Together we raised over $7,000 towards the student scholarship fund. 👏
