TOMS

While traveling in Argentina in 2006, TOMS Founder Blake Mycoskie witnessed the hardships faced by children growing up without shoes. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a new pair of shoes for a child in need. One for One®.

QUALITY WITH A QUICK TURNAROUND

TOMS came to Small Green Door for product photography in 2011. TOMS was growing rapidly and needed a photography team that could create high-quality, brand consistent images just as quickly. We started to work more closely with them when we moved into our current studio space doing full set construction, styling for their catalogs, and elaborate production for photography.

INTERACTIVE EXPERIMENTATION FUELED BY A PRODUCT

We branched into interactive design for TOMS, first creating a wholesale website for their business to business clients. We recently initiated adding another layer to our creative partnership by developing a sample VR micro-site: a Google Cardboard integrated micro-site using the newest line of TOMS sunglasses. We tend to choose clients whose process and products inspire us, making experimental work a natural extension to our partnerships.
